Yes.. we are still trapped. ;) 

But suddenly our home feels like spring with these bright and beautiful flowers that Bryant brought home to me after work... 

Such a sweet sweet husband... 

He just brought in a bit of sunshine into our home filled with sickies.  I feel like we can handle "being trapped" for a little bit longer... ;)

Healing..

 We've been sick here for the past week with a yucky virus.. The girls have been doing fairly well considering that we've been stuck at home.. and probably will be for another week... The bright side of being stuck at home is that it force me to be creative... to entertain these sicklings. ;)

I was thinking how healing "beauty" is (especially for a girl).. while I was painting the fingernails of my sick 3 year old.  Just feeling "pretty" is healing in itself. :)

Painting and crafting...always a great way to keep them busy...

Cracking open acorns we picked up from our neighborhood.

Singing praises in the morning.. and praying that God would heal us quickly. ;)

A nice cup of tea helps us feel better too...

And a little project for Mommy so she doesn't lose her sanity. ;)

 

Summer Again.. in the Middle of Winter!

Another warm and beautiful winter day! Today, we went to Laguna Beach just to bask the sun and relax by the ocean!  We even met a family visiting from Australia!  The girls had fun playing at the park, running on the beach, and throwing wet sand with their two little girls! :)

 

Summer in the Middle of Winter

It has been so hot this week! If we had a pool, we would be jumping into it right about now... Instead, the girls wanted to dress up in their princess costumes and jump in the bounce house.  Littlest sister is still too small to jump in it all by herself but I know by this summer we will have three jumpy, squirmy, giggly girls jumping in the pink castle together! ;)

New Year.

There is no better way to welcome the new year with great friends, great food and great conversations!!

We had a wonderful... sushi-making, acorn-picking, mariokart-racing, birdhouse-coloring, bone-fetching, chocolate-dipping, stair-climbing, photo-taking, new year-celebrating weekend!! :)
