Fear

When we are faced with fear,
rather than bowing to it,
we must stand firm against it and do what we
fear anyway.
Don’t run!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband..who is an amazing Dad to our three girls.  Our annual tradition is to have a beach picnic and watch him surf!  This year two other families joined us, which was a lot of fun!  Too bad for Bryant, it was very windy and there were no good waves. :(  But...I've never seen the girls have so much fun in the water!  It was a fun-filled weekend. Biggest Sister even got to go to her first major-league baseball game with Daddy!

Can you tell she was super excited to go on a date with Daddy?! ;)

Daddy and his youngest daughter.

It was a very windy day...but that didn't stop the girls from wanting to go in beach to play in the water.

Beach House

Bryant's friend and his family were spending a week at his in-law's beach house last week... and they were so gracious to invite us over for a pizza, bonfire, s'mores night! Needless to say, the girls were very excited!  They can't get enough of bonfire and s'mores. ;)

The house was right on the ocean in Capo Beach...it's amazing to have the beach as a backyard.. The girls played in the sand and water with the other kids, we started the fire and enjoyed the beautiful sunset... It was so fun.  I'm thankful for friends that share their blessings with us!!

So Serious...

This girl is rarely this serious..
She is concentrating hard in these photos...
She's a ball of energy and rarely stays still...
But for whatever reason she was so focused...
And I love that she already knows how to hold a pencil properly...
Probably learned from watching her big sisters.. ;)

The "Urban Barn" and Baby Shower

Last weekend, my friend Amy and I threw a baby shower for our good friend Jen who is expecting her first baby in July.  Jen requested a co-ed baby shower to celebrate her baby girl!  It was different planning for this shower because it was 1) a co-ed/family shower and 2) it was held at my friend's house which is an hour and half away (which meant we did almost all the planning via phone or e-mail).  It was so much fun planning for the shower because 1) this baby shower was also for Bryant's best friend (the father of the baby) and 2) I got to spend a lot of time talking on the phone with Amy who I love and respect so much...and we got to meet halfway in San Juan Capistrano to plan and brainstorm for the shower (and did a little antique window-shopping also!).

She also took me to the "Urban Barn" on the day of the shower, which is a antique mall/shop near her house with so much wonderful treasures!  I'm definitely going back there when I have some cash in my pocket! ;)  The shower turned out wonderful and Jen seemed to really enjoy it.. so Amy and I were relieved! We are so excited to welcome and meet the precious baby growing in her belly!!

Some photos from the store.

Can you tell I love A LOT of things from the store!?!? ;)

And some photos from the shower...
The style was modern with a rustic feel...
